This is a pamphlet, not a book...my own fault for not checking the number of pages before borrowing it. It's basically just a 15 minute read of common sense observations about teens.
Parenting your children during teen ages is a crucial stage and finding something effective which really relates to the topic is very much of a hassle but the author really tried hard to cover the topic up to some extent to give the maximum output.
I know what it's like parenting a teenager. It's a challenge. I like how this book talks about communication and how important it is with teenagers. It has great information and worth the read.
Very practical book on Parenting teens. Book covers essential facts about our body and hormones. Teen is a time which is difficult to harness and emotions run wild and its the responsibility of parents to help their kids to understand and help them to pass through this phase gracefully. Highly recommended
Teens can be though to deal with. On one hand you want them to express their personality, on the other hand you wish they would just sit silent! This book gives you a lot of great ideas for you to handle their emotional energy without losing your power.
Although I hate to admit it, my daughter is entering the teenage years and her attitude is definitely starting to reflect it!
As a dad it’s always awkward to try and talk to your child about the issues they’re having so I purchased this book to gain a little more insight on how to parent and talk to my daughter.
One thing I really like about this book is how up-to-date the information is. Most parenting books are filled with outdated information that isn’t relevant to our modern culture.
My wife and I have both learned a lot from this book and have picked up some new strategies to cope with the attitude problems. It has opened our eyes to many issues we didn’t even know were a factor and I’m sure we’ll be consulting it frequently.
I bought this book as a gift for my sister who has her son entering into his teenage anytime now. We all know teenage is indeed a tough time and a teenager faces many a issues which are unique to them unlike childhood or adulthood. Yet we all forget that as parents.
Somehow our expectations are always way too high when it comes to our own kids. This book helps to open up some of these basic issues as parents we tend to forget and help us be better parents to our teenage kids as they pass through this difficult phase of life.
My sister was grateful to read this book and found herself nodding to most of the suggestions in it. I am sure such useful reading would go a long way in preparing the parents mentally for what is to come.
